Allows time for discussion of one simple problem/condition up to 15 minutes.
Extended Consult
A consult where there is management of a more comprehensive and complex problem, lasting between 15 and 30 minutes. This also includes any time the doctor may spend following up after you have left the consult. For example: letters and or telephone calls.

A long consult is management of a more complex problem, or more than one problem lasting between 30-45 minutes. This also includes any time the doctor may spend following up after you have left the consult. For example: letters and or telephone calls.

Payment of Fees
The doctors at City Health Geraldton bulk bill all children 6 years and under.
For patients over 6 years of age, we are a private billing practice. Our practice requires payment for consultations after your appointment. You may pay using cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card. A rebate can be claimed from Medicare, we are able to submit your account directly to Medicare electronically on your behalf.
Veteran Affairs gold card holders are directly billed to DVA for all services.
All Centerlink Pensioners and Health Card Holders are billed at a discounted rate.
If you are experiencing financial difficulty please speak to your doctor during your consult.

Treatment Room - Nurse Services
At City Health, if you receive treatment via the treatment room you may have to pay a fee.
This is may be charged to cover bandages, vaccinations, ECG's, ear syringing etc.

Results & Referrals
Results - Please call City Health on 9921 4433 between 12pm - 2pm a nurse will be available to discuss your results, the nurse will let you know if a further appointment is required by your doctor.

Repeat Scripts
City Health Doctors will make repeat scripts. There is a fee of $10 per script.

All doctors and nurses performing Skin Cancer checks and surgery are accredited with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Any surgery or treatments performed may incur additional charges, this can be discussed with your doctor during the initial consult.
